Both were issues that needed to be addressed. Over the next five years, we tested numerous prototypes and worked to perfect a design that checked all of the boxes. We are proud to introduce the \u003cb\u003eB2BFAB Mk7 Golf R Camber Correcting Lift Kit!\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eThe Problem:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eFor all Mk7 models\u003cspan\u003e and the majority of road-going vehicles,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e a small amount of negative camber is dialed into the front and rear suspension to offer proper  handling. When an Mk7 is lifted with a bolt-through spacer lift kit or spring lift, the negative camber of the front wheels is reduced or removed. With no camber adjustment present on the front suspension components, zero camber or even positive camber is unavoidable with bolt-through lift spacers or spring lifts.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e\"Why do I care?\"\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eThe proper amount of negative camber ensures optimal contact between the tire and the road through all handling maneuvers. When front camber is outside of the manufacturer's specified range in the positive direction, the handling is floaty, twitchy, and generally unstable at highway speeds.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eUnfortunately, the Mk7 does not have a way to adjust front camber.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eThe Solution:\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eBy offsetting the upper mounting point of the front struts, our lift kit removes the excessive positive camber, allowing proper suspension geometry and specifications.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAs a note, the 1.5\" kit alone will offer more favorable camber setting for handling, usually around -1.5 to -2 degrees.
