Maintain the intended crankcase ventilation path
Genuine VW/Audi 035-103-245-A is the valve insert for the assigned crankcase ventilation arrangement. It manages flow at the original breather connection as part of the engine's ventilation system.
The compact valve must be fitted in the specified orientation inside the matching connection. It is separate from the surrounding breather hose and housing, which can also deteriorate with heat and oil exposure.

Installation guidance
Follow the factory breather-system repair procedure with the engine cool. Release the surrounding connection carefully, check the housing for damage and install the valve in the specified direction with the correct retaining and sealing arrangement.
Check that all hoses are seated and routed correctly and complete the required ventilation leak and operating tests. Repair other failed ventilation components found during inspection.
