OVERVIEW
The 06K-109-467-K Genuine VW/Audi upper timing chain tensioner maintains tension on the matching camshaft timing-chain drive. Oil pressure helps the tensioner act on the chain guide so the timing drive stays controlled as the engine operates. Correct tension supports the intended relationship between the crankshaft and camshaft.
