Connect the original turbocharger coolant circuit
06K-121-492-F is the Genuine VW/Audi formed coolant connector pipe for the specified turbocharger installations. Its shaped tube, mounting ear and sealed plug-in end match the original cooling connection.
The turbocharger cooling circuit uses several pipes, hoses and seals packed close to hot engine components. Correct connector shape and mounting alignment are important for a leak-free connection without placing stress on the adjoining hose or port.

One connector pipe is supplied. Turbocharger, other coolant lines, hose clamps, coolant and separate mounting hardware are not included. Verify the required sealing ring and hardware for the original connection before installation.
Common reasons to replace
- Corrosion or physical damage causes a confirmed leak from the pipe.
- The mounting ear or tube is damaged.
- The insertion or hose-sealing surface is damaged.
- The original pipe is damaged during an approved turbocharger repair.
Identify the exact leak source and inspect adjacent hoses, seals and ports. A leak from the sealing ring or another nearby line may require a different repair. Do not bend a mismatched pipe to fit the installation.

Installation guidance
Allow the engine to cool completely and follow the prescribed coolant depressurization and draining procedure. Clean the mating port, install the specified seal correctly and align the pipe without forcing it. Use the required clamps, hardware and torque specifications.
Refill and bleed the cooling system using the vehicle-specific procedure. Inspect the serviced connections during the prescribed leak and temperature-cycle checks.
