Retain the assigned fuel-tank sender flange
1K0-201-375 is the Genuine VW/Audi lock ring, also called a union nut, for the specified fuel-tank flange attachments. The formed metal ring engages the original tank retaining features to hold the assigned module or flange in position.
The retaining ring provides the mechanical clamping action while a separate sealing gasket closes the flange joint. Correct ring engagement and flange seating are essential when the tank module is removed or serviced.

Inspect the tank's retaining features, module flange and sealing surface. Replace the prescribed seal and repair damaged components. A new ring cannot compensate for a distorted flange, cracked tank or incorrect gasket.

Installation guidance
