Genuine VW/Audi Trunk and Liftgate Latch Protective Cover
8K9-827-645 is the genuine molded protective cap used around the assigned trunk or liftgate latch arrangement. It is a compact cover component, separate from the latch mechanism.

Installation and trim service guidance
Follow the factory trunk or liftgate trim procedure. Access the cover using the prescribed removal sequence and protect the surrounding trim and latch area while releasing its attachment.
