Our ECU upgrade includes advanced safety features that go above and beyond by correcting modeled sensor data within the ECU and enabling and calibrating new protection routines. We've optimized turbocharger protection by monitoring shaft speed and respecting overspinning limits, excessive exhaust backpressure, and unstable pressure ratios. Low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) protection prevents engine damage in high gears. Thermal management actively reduces power to prevent overheating of critical components, lowers cooling setpoints in sport mode, and reduces power until your oil reaches the proper temperature. Fuel system optimization ensures safe, reliable operation within critical fueling limits. Additionally, drivetrain shock protection optimizes torque delivery to reduce stress on critical components. Furthermore higher torque output software for use with our PDK transmission software where fueling and safety headroom permitted an increase. The result? Enhanced Driving Experience
We didn't stop at raw power-APR's ECU upgrade enhances every aspect of your driving experience. To truly experience the sound of this engine, we've increased the standing RPM limiter when combined with our PDK tune, allowing higher revving in neutral and park while enabling the exhaust crackle in this mode. Optionally, you can enable even louder exhaust sounds with more aggressive burbles, pops, and bangs in all scenarios-or keep it stock for a more refined experience.

Furthermore, we've added left-foot braking and brake boosting for greater control on and off the track, while the speed limiter removal unleashes your car's full top-speed potential. The Auto Start/Stop memory ensures your preferred setting is always ready, putting you in control every time you start the car, and it disables automatically in sport mode. Finally, we've removed the cap on the boost gauges so you can see the full range present at higher power levels for those who modified their dash with the factory tools to ready higher!
