We're excited to announce our Engine Control Unit (ECU) Upgrades are now available for the Bentley 4.0T V8 engine with the Bosch MG1 ECU! Expect massive gains with up to 685-767 HP and 731-804 FT-LBS of torque on tap, depending on octane, from this simple software upgrade.

APR's ECU Upgrades are the best dollar-per-horsepower modification one can make to improve engine performance. The upgrades dramatically increase horsepower and torque, making for an exceptionally quicker and more exciting vehicle. This is made possible through APR's optimization of the factory engine management system to take full advantage of the engine's capabilities, without needing any end user adjustment. The ECU Upgrades are available with various features and supported octane levels and each stage is compatible with most typical bolt-on modifications. The software is installed to the vehicle's factory ECU through the OBD-II port resulting in a clean and headache-free install. APR ECU Upgrade Stages

Our new suite of MG1 ECU software comes after months of extensive research and development that is typically absent from the aftermarket. Our upgrade makes the engine more powerful and more exciting. We’ve extensively calibrated the system to work flawlessly on the track, while retaining safety routines to protect your engine in the most demanding scenarios. This was all made possible by our engineering team's pursuit of perfection. Development vehicles were outfitted with additional sensors, including turbo shaft speed sensors, thermocouples, transducers, and more, along with our high speed direct RAM logging equipment, to feed valuable data to the team for analysis. After thousands of hours of testing and tuning we created new calibrations that are fine tuned for several octanes and contain hundreds of map changes, with a vast array of safety features built in.


Our ECU Upgrades are available in multiple configurations. Installation of additional performance hardware, such as an intercooler or intake systems, may provide further performance improvements.

APR Plus is our APR Stage 1 ECU Upgrade with our limited powertrain warranty and it’s the first step towards tuning your engine. It produces up to 685 HP and 731 FT-LBS of torque with gains as high as +191 HP and +163 FT-LBS of torque at the wheels.
