OVERVIEW
Get bootmod3 for your supported B46 or B48 BMW, with vehicle-specific map access and app-based control. HS Tuning checks the VIN, engine and DME software before fulfilling the digital license, so you have a clear path to activation.
What your license includes
- One bootmod3 software license for one eligible BMW vehicle.
- One paid off-the-shelf (OTS) map selected at activation, plus any maps marked free for that vehicle in bootmod3.
- Access to supported bootmod3 app features such as map management, datalogging and diagnostics; available functions depend on the vehicle and software.
BMW fitment
BMW F- and G-series 120i, 125i, 220i, 225i, 230i, 320i, 330i, 330e, 420i, 430i, 520i, 530i, 530e, X1, X2, X3, and X4 with a supported B46 or B48 engine. These are supplier-listed applications, not a guarantee based on the badge alone. VIN, DME generation and software level determine eligibility. Contact HS Tuning if your vehicle is not listed or has had a DME replacement or software update.
How fulfillment works
- Order the B46/B48 software license.
- HS Tuning will request the vehicle VIN and the email address on your bootmod3 account through a secure follow-up.
- We check fitment and the required DME unlock, then coordinate license fulfillment. If the vehicle does not match this license, we contact you before activation.
Your password is never needed. Do not enter passwords, one-time codes or payment details in order notes or messages.
Unlock and equipment
The bootmod3 app identifies whether your DME needs an OBD, bench or FEMTO unlock. A required unlock may add time and cost. Unlock service, shipping, installation labor, a compatible WiFi/OBD adapter or cable, extra OTS maps and custom tuning are not included unless separately stated.
