  Active Autowerke's Engineers have spent countless amount of years fine tuning the E46 BMW M3 software tune. With countless revisions and updates being made through our Race and Forced Induction program we have been able to bring this upgrades to the street.
  
  Whether you enjoy you car as a daily driver or enjoy the weekend track outings our BMW M3 tune software will be able to accomodate your neeeds. With careful, detailed remapping to the entire DME we have been able to increase your S54's output by 14 HP and 11 ft lbs of torque for a normal street car.
  
  We also have different upgrades available for offroad use like Sport Button Modification,SMG lights, 02 Simulation, etc.

  We are all infatuated with power in our own way. If you are looking on how to gain tremendous, additional horsepower for your BMW E46 M3 with the S54 engine, then there's the Active Autowerke supercharger yielding up to 650 horses.
  
  If you are looking for something that is induced through normal aspirations, then there's the Active Autowerke performance tuned software or the Active Autowerke performance exhaust header all producing good horses as well.
  
  Then there's the Active Autowerke Power Pulley Kit. It looks more non-intrusive to the engine bay, it is easy to install, and it makes power.
  
  Best of all, it is a good start to build on since it is modular in design and complements all other Active Autowerke performance upgrades for the BMW E46 M3. The exception would be the Active Autowerke supercharger system which utilizes a dedicated 8 RIB pulley drive.

  The S54 BMW engine produces horsepower, however its full potential is not attained when the engine also has to drive other convenience features like air conditioning and power steering.
  
  These ancillary components all run off of the engine crankshaft via a belt drive, and they all rob or take away additional horsepower just to drive these systems because of their inherent designs.
  
  Active Autowerke has developed a power pulley kit that reduces the drag on specific pulleys while allowing others to remain at their same efficiency.
  
  The end result is unleashing untapped power just by redesigning the drive ratios of the engine pulleys.

  What is redesigned is the water pump, alternator and power steering pulleys to minimize the drag effects placed on the engine.
  
  The end result is an additional 10 rear wheel horsepower gain as measured on the in house Active Autowerke Mustang dyno. What is not touched is the engine crankshaft pulley.
  
  The engineers at Active Autowerke wanted not to alter the harmonic of the engine crankshaft and only redesigned the auxiliary drives.
  
  

  R&D DEVELOPMENT

  
  

  When Active Autowerke designs, test and produces a supercharger system for the E46 M3 to produce over 650 horsepower, part of this design entails working on the supercharger belt drive. This includes calculating the right pulley diameters, groove pitch, belt alignment through pulley offsets, maintaining proper belt tension, and then continuous testing on the chassis dyno with our BMW E46 M3. Active Autowerke take this same approach to apply into the design and development of the Active Autowerke Power Pulley Kit - E46 M3.
  This is part of the building block concept where what is learned today is applied tomorrow. This is something that we do on a daily basis everyday.
