This electrical connector is used widely in various Volkswagen and Audi applications. The pin locking mechanism and weather seal are integrated and included in this part number, but the electrical contact pins are not. Enthusiasts commonly use this connector to create a brake pad wear sensor bypass when upgrading to big brake kits that do not have pad wear sensor provisions.
