OVERVIEW
BMW strut mount locking nut used in the front suspension on select modern BMWs. Also referred to as a yoke lock nut, fork lock nut, or strut assembly nut, this OEM part secures the top of the strut or shock absorber to the mounting fork/upper suspension yoke and ensures the strut stays properly clamped under load. It’s designed to meet BMW’s exact thread, strength, and corrosion-resistance specifications so the suspension stays tight, quiet, and aligned, especially on vehicles with air suspension or heavy duty strut assemblies.
