OVERVIEW
Genuine self-locking bolt for the original cargo eye
The N-103-114-03 Genuine VW/Audi bolt secures the assigned luggage-compartment lashing eye on the configurations below. The factory catalog specifies an M6×20 self-locking fastener at this attachment.
Cargo eye hardware must match the original body mounting point and lashing-eye design. This listing supplies one bolt. It does not include the eye, mounting insert, cargo strap or a complete luggage-compartment hardware set.
Technical details
- Complete factory number: N-103-114-03.
- Factory specification: M6 × 20; self-locking factory specification.
- Design: internal-drive mounting bolt for the original lashing-eye attachment.
- Quantity supplied: one individual bolt.
The factory self-locking specification is part of the original attachment design. Follow the repair procedure for thread preparation and hardware replacement. Do not substitute a general-purpose screw solely because it has an M6 thread.
Common reasons to replace
- The original lashing-eye bolt is missing after cargo-area service.
- The drive recess is damaged.
- Threads are damaged or cross-threaded.
- The head is distorted.
- The factory procedure requires new self-locking hardware after removal.
Inspect the lashing eye, receiving threads and surrounding body mounting point. A new bolt cannot restore a bent eye or damaged anchor structure. The bolt does not increase the factory load rating of the cargo eye or vehicle.

Installation guidance
Follow the factory luggage-compartment trim and lashing-eye service procedure. Seat the original eye correctly, align the receiving threads and start the bolt by hand. Use the prescribed self-locking hardware procedure and tightening specification.
Check that the eye is firmly retained and trim is correctly seated. Follow the vehicle's cargo securement instructions and original anchor load limits. Do not use thread sealant or locking products unless directed by the factory procedure.
Ordering information
Supplied as one genuine bolt. The vehicle may use several bolts across its cargo eyes; confirm the required quantity for the repair. Lashing eye, straps, inserts and additional hardware are not included.
