Factory hardware for the specified transmission attachment
N-105-155-02 is a Genuine VW/Audi M12 x 40 socket-head flange bolt with an internal multipoint drive. It is used at the assigned original transmission-assembly fastening point in the five-speed automatic applications below.
The transmission assembly uses bolts of several lengths and head types. Matching the original fastener location and complete part number helps preserve the intended thread engagement and head clearance; a similar-looking M12 bolt is not sufficient identification.

Inspect the receiving threads, dowel alignment and mating surfaces before assembly. Replacing one bolt does not correct a damaged housing, worn mount or misaligned transmission.
