Fasten the assigned inner CV joint retainer plate
N-106-679-01 is the Genuine VW/Audi internal multipoint socket-head bolt for the specified CV axle retainer-plate connections. Its factory M10 × 55 mm size must match the original joint and attachment.
CV joint fasteners operate in a rotating driveline connection where correct length, engagement and tightening procedure are essential. A bolt with the same nominal thread but a different head or length is not an equivalent substitute.
