Genuine charge-air pipe attachment hardware
The N-107-045-01 Genuine VW/Audi oval-head socket bolt secures the assigned charge-air pressure-pipe mounting on the Q5 and A7 TDI configurations listed below. Its factory M6 × 35 specification matches the original attachment and decoupling arrangement.
This bolt serves a mounting connection in the charge-air pipe assembly. It is not a hose clamp, sealing ring or pressure sensor. Confirm the complete number and original mounting position because other nearby pipe fasteners have different lengths.

The nominal specification describes the fastener itself rather than packaged shipping dimensions. Match the complete factory number, original attachment point and head seating arrangement. Similar-looking hardware elsewhere in the same assembly can differ in length, thread size or bearing surface.
Common reasons to replace
- A bolt is missing after component removal or previous service.
- The drive head is damaged or rounded.
- The threads have been crossed, stripped or otherwise damaged.
- The bolt is bent or its bearing surface no longer seats correctly.
- A previous repair used incorrect substitute hardware.
Inspect the pressure pipe, mounting bushes, decoupling elements and receiving threads. Loose mounts or damaged isolators can allow unwanted movement; a new bolt cannot repair a cracked pipe, split hose or leaking connection. Diagnose boost faults separately.
Vehicle fitment
The Q5 row requires the original CPNB / TH1 pressure-pipe arrangement. The A7 rows require the specified original 3.0 TDI charge-air pipe mounting. Other engines and pressure-pipe connections require separate part-number confirmation.

Installation guidance
Follow the factory charge-air pipe service procedure. Protect open intake connections from dirt and position the original bushes and decoupling elements correctly. Align the pipe without forcing it and follow the specified tightening method for its mount.
Align the mating components before engaging the bolt, start the threads carefully and use the correct tool for the actual drive. Follow the factory tightening instruction and sequence for the exact connection. Do not transfer torque values between different applications that happen to use the same bolt number.
Verify that the pipe is supported correctly and does not contact adjacent components. Restore hose connections, clips and sensors disturbed during access, then perform the prescribed intake-system checks.
