The N-903-285-02 Genuine VW/Audi bolt provides the original collared hex-head attachment for the specific transmission-cover and interior-bracket applications below. Its M8×16 specification identifies a particular fastener rather than a universal mounting bolt.

Installation guidance
Follow the factory procedure for the selected attachment. For final-drive cover work, support and prepare the assembly and sealing surfaces as directed, and use the prescribed tightening order and specifications. For the armrest bracket, align the original support and start the bolt by hand.
Confirm secure mounting and correct component seating. Complete any specified fluid-level and leak checks after drivetrain work. Do not transfer transmission-cover torque values to an interior bracket or substitute this bolt for hydraulic fittings.
