Use the correct six-lobe tool, fully seated in the drive recess. Follow the original thread path and the factory installation method for the mating retainer. Do not substitute a machine-thread bolt simply because it has a similar diameter.
Apply the specified tightening requirement for this panel mounting position. Do not infer torque from the nominal size or copy the setting used for a structural support bolt. Excessive tightening can damage the screw, mating retainer or mounting piece.
Confirm that every required mounting position contains the correct hardware and that the radiator assembly has its prescribed seating and clearance. Refit the related ducts, hoses and electrical connections as directed.
Where cooling connections were disturbed, complete the specified coolant filling, bleeding and leak checks. Perform the required operating checks after reassembly. This listing supplies one original screw; select the remaining hardware separately.
