Genuine VW/Audi Blind Pop Rivet
N-908-123-02 is an original blind rivet with a nominal 6 x 10 mm specification. It is used at assigned riveted fastening points, including selected bumper cover support and rear body/package tray retainer locations. The rivet is installed from one side of the joint with an appropriate rivet-setting tool; pulling the mandrel forms the retaining end so the specified components are held together. One individual rivet is supplied.

Common reasons to replace
New rivets are needed when a riveted component is removed for repair or replacement. If the retained component has become loose, inspect its mounting holes and the underlying support for distortion, wear or cracking before installation. A correctly set rivet depends on the intended joint and hole condition; fitting new hardware will not repair an enlarged hole or a damaged mounting flange. Follow the original body repair instructions for any required repair to the attachment.
Installation and service notes
Confirm the OEM number, rivet location and specified component stack before removing the old fastener. Protect nearby wiring, lines, trim and surfaces during drilling or removal, and remove debris from the area. Keep the original hole size and mounting arrangement intact; do not enlarge the hole to accommodate unrelated hardware. Align and support the parts, then use a suitable rivet-setting tool and the vehicle-specific installation procedure. Check that the rivet is fully seated and the retained component is secure. Do not substitute a screw, a different rivet length or an impact-bar mounting bolt for this assigned fastening point.
