Genuine VW/Audi Front Subframe Bolt
N-908-235-01 is an original hex-head fastener with a washer for specified front subframe attachment positions. Common reasons to replace
Renew the assigned bolt when the subframe is lowered or removed for suspension, steering, drivetrain or related repair work. Replacement is also appropriate for missing hardware, damaged threads, corrosion, a deformed washer or rounded hex drive surfaces. Because this application uses single-use stretch hardware, an old bolt should not be reused merely because it appears undamaged. If a subframe joint has been loose, inspect the mounting points, receiving threads, locating surfaces and related fasteners before reassembly. New hardware alone will not correct a worn subframe bushing, a damaged body attachment or an incorrectly positioned assembly.
Installation and service notes
