OVERVIEW

Genuine VW/Audi M6 Hexagon Head Bolt

N-908-332-02 is the genuine M6 × 22mm fastener used at specified original mounting points, including the matched accelerator-pedal assemblies below. It secures the assigned component to its factory mounting arrangement. This listing supplies one individual bolt; the pedal module, bracket, cap and electrical connector are separate.

Technical details

  • OEM number: N-908-332-02 / N90833202.
  • Factory catalog specification: M6 × 22mm.
  • Design: Hexagon head bolt with the original bearing surface and drive arrangement shown in the product photo.
  • Confirmed role: Accelerator-pedal mounting hardware in the restricted original assemblies listed below.
  • Quantity: One bolt per purchased unit.
  • Application control: Full part number, pedal module, fastening position and original mounting arrangement.

The correct length and head configuration help the fastener engage the receiving thread without interfering with surrounding components. A generic screw of similar diameter is not sufficient to identify the replacement. Match the original M6 × 22mm fastening assignment and the installed pedal mounting arrangement before ordering.

This is mechanical fastening hardware. It is not an accelerator-position sensor, pedal module or electrical repair kit. A loose pedal mounting and an electronic pedal fault are different problems; replacing this bolt cannot correct a failed sensor, damaged wiring or broken pedal housing.

Common reasons to replace

Replacement is appropriate when the original bolt is missing, bent, corroded, cross-threaded or damaged at its drive surface. It may also be needed when a pedal module has been removed for service, an incorrect fastener has been installed previously, or the applicable repair procedure calls for new hardware.

Inspect the pedal housing, mounting tab and receiving thread before reassembly. A cracked tab, stripped insert or damaged bracket needs a proper repair or component replacement. Do not compensate with a longer bolt or excessive tightening. Diagnose accelerator-related warning lights and response faults separately through the appropriate electrical checks.

Fitment

The table is limited to publicly confirmed original pedal assemblies. Match the actual installed module and fastening point, especially if a pedal or bracket has been replaced. The same bolt number can appear in other systems, but these entries do not establish compatibility with every attachment in the vehicle.

Installation and service guidance

Follow the factory procedure for removing and refitting the accelerator-pedal assembly and for any required electrical precautions. Protect the connector locks, support the module correctly and inspect the mounting surface. Start the replacement bolt by hand so that it follows the original receiving thread without cross-threading.

Tighten the fastener to the procedure for the specific pedal assembly; do not use a universal torque based only on M6 diameter. Confirm that the module is seated securely and that wiring is routed clear of pedal movement. Check that the pedal travels smoothly, returns freely and has no interference from trim, wiring or the floor mat. Complete any required diagnostic or adaptation steps if the pedal module itself was replaced.
