Genuine sealing ring for the original manual gearbox guide sleeve
The N-910-298-01 Genuine VW/Audi O-ring seals the assigned guide-sleeve and gearbox-housing connection on the manual-transmission configurations below. Its factory size is 60.82×2.62.
This is a separate circular sealing ring used at its original housing joint. It is not the rotating input-shaft lip seal, clutch release bearing, guide sleeve or a complete transmission seal kit. Match the full factory number and installed gearbox.

The nominal ring dimensions identify the factory component rather than shipping dimensions. Correct fit also depends on the original groove and sealing surfaces. Do not substitute another ring based only on approximate diameter.

- The original ring is cut or torn during removal.
- The ring has become flattened or permanently compressed.
- The seal has hardened or cracked.
- Leak diagnosis identifies the original guide-sleeve housing joint.

Identify the actual leak source and inspect the guide sleeve, groove and housing surface. A new O-ring cannot repair a cracked component, damaged bore or worn rotating shaft seal. Keep clutch friction surfaces free of contamination during the repair.

Installation guidance
Follow the factory gearbox and clutch guide-sleeve service procedure. Clean and inspect the groove and mating surface without scratching them. Use only the specified assembly lubricant where directed and fit the ring without twisting, stretching excessively or pinching it.
Install the guide sleeve and associated hardware using the prescribed procedure. Complete the required gearbox fluid-level, leak and clutch-operation checks after reassembly.
