Genuine hood-hinge and alarm-bracket attachment hardware
The N-910-793-01 Genuine VW/Audi hex collared bolt secures the assigned hood-hinge or anti-theft alarm bracket connection shown in the fitment table. The external hex head and integrated collar provide the original wrenching and seating arrangement for the specified joint.
These are separate applications of the same factory number. Match the bolt to its original mounting point; the hood assembly and alarm bracket also use other fasteners that are not interchangeable with this M8 × 16 bolt.

Installation guidance
Follow the factory procedure for the exact joint. For hood-hinge work, support the hood and preserve the required alignment before loosening fasteners. For alarm-bracket service, follow the applicable electrical access and mounting instructions.
Align the mating components before engaging the bolt, start the threads carefully and use the correct tool for the actual drive. Follow the factory tightening instruction and sequence for the exact connection. Do not transfer torque values between different applications that happen to use the same bolt number.
Verify hinge alignment, panel clearance and normal hood latching after hood service. For alarm-bracket work, check that the bracket is secure and wiring is routed correctly. Use the tightening instruction for the actual attachment.
