Genuine VW/Audi Underbody and Splash Shield Bolt
N-911-407-01 is an original combination bolt used at assigned underbody trim and splash shield mounting positions. Confirmed applications include Audi e-tron underbody trim and selected A6 / S6 radiator support deflectors. It retains the specified cover or shield at its intended mounting point; it is not a universal replacement for every undertray screw or impact guard bolt.

Common reasons to replace
Renew missing hardware after removing an underbody panel for service. Replace a bolt with a rounded drive recess, damaged threads, corrosion, a bent shank or a damaged washer where required by the repair procedure. Inspect loose or noisy shields for cracked mounting ears, missing clips and damaged receiving threads. A new bolt cannot restore a broken shield attachment or stripped receiver, so those defects should be repaired before reassembly.
Installation and service notes
Match the fastening diagram and original part reference, align the shield and start the bolt by hand. Confirm that the washer seats against the intended mounting surface and that adjacent guide pins and retainers are installed correctly. Use the vehicle's tightening procedure for underbody trim; an impact guard or structural subframe bolt can require a different specification. Follow the renewal and thread preparation instructions for the assigned joint rather than adding a generic torque value or an unspecified locking compound. Work near electric-drive components must follow the manufacturer's applicable isolation and handling procedures.
