Installation and service guidance
Follow the factory procedure for the specific 0B5 oil-system component being serviced. Keep the area clean and prevent contamination of open transmission passages or oil lines. Internal transmission work requires the prescribed service equipment and procedures.
Inspect the receiving groove and mating component, then install the correct ring in its assigned position without twisting or damaging it. Use the lubricant and assembly method specified for that operation. Restore the associated components and hardware in the required sequence.
